December 4-9, 2009, I had the rare opportunity to participate in a familiarization tour which resulted in being awarded as a Trentino Specialist ;-)

The tour was a joint venture between the Italian Government Tourist Board and Al Italia Airlines, facilitated by World on Skis travel company. One individual from each ski club that participated spent these 5 days touring the area, skiing Madonna di Campiglio and visiting prospective properties for future trips by our respective groups.

We were wined and dined and accompanied by the friendliest and most cordial representatives of the host companies. While the stay was brief, the experiences were memorable and I hope these photos help to communicate the essence of the experience.
